In wake of the Coronavirus, we are all cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing more than ever.  But most household cleaners can RUIN vehicle interiors.

In this video Roadshow covers the best ways to clean and disinfect your car without damaging it.

Summary: No to bleach, yes to benzalkonium chloride; follow dwell time on bottle. Use on key fob, interior & exterior door handles, touchpoints - rearview mirror, wheel, knobs, touchscreen (careful with chemicals), seat belts, window tint blocks UV so lets virus live easier.

We actually have an antimicrobial cleaner in the works that kills viruses and eliminates odors. It has no alcohol so it's safe on car interior. It also protects surfaces for up to 24 hours. The issue? It's expensive to produce, so it wouldn't be cheap. Let us know in the comments if that's something you'd be interested in.

I applaud your efforts to R&D a product that will sanitize a car’s interior and not be harmful to the materials. As you said it will be expensive to bring to market and would be expensive to purchase. The issue to me is would people buy it today? Probably YES, however will they continue to buy that product later after when this worldwide pandemic is over and forgotten. Case and point, how we forget epic events, ie, 911, Stock market crash of 87, 2008-08 etc. we are creatures of habit and we will all relax our guard when the virus passes. I would say spend your money to further enhance and market the great products you have. Just my opinion. Keep up the good work!!
